Life's a beach...

So some things never change. Now I'm back in Greece it's up early each morning with the Guv and out for the beach walk.  Yesterday I had a good look around this beach hut someone had built during the summer, not bad either but they have now vacated......I could make it my beach kennel

Sand or sugar ?

OK, back to my journey.  Now I was mighty pleased to get off the ferry at Patras as I really needed to do doggy things. You see for the 22 hours onboard I just can't as ferries do not have any grass areas!

The Guv stopped the "poppymobile" just outside the port for me but our next stop was not until we reached Zacharo and I was allowed a good run-a-bout on the beach. I really knew I was now back in my homeland!

My room in Italy.....

Woof...the other day when I told you about our stay at La Crota in Italy I forgot to tell you about the great welcome we had by the humans there.  We were shown around and given free use of the both the lounge and the kitchen / dining area. What's more there was fruit, teas and free wine made by the owner of the house.  Under the house was the original wine cellar, but the Misses said the Guv could not go down there, in case he never reappeared.  I had to stay in the room though...

All ship shape....

Well it's "all aboard" again on the Minoan bath tub at Ancona for a long 22 hours journey to my homeland.  I just need to ask the Guv where does a girl do doggy things onboard!

Kitten comfort

Well I've finally managed to get to the computer without my people seeing.  Now as I was saying in my last blog there was an awful lot of activity going on at my pad in France and now I know why..
Off we all went in the "poppymobile" with "big blue" behind us.  This was our second stop, a place in Italy my people planned to spend the night.  What a greeting I had, two horses, a donkey, several canines and cats came to greet me.
I sorted most of them out but actually felt sorry for the kitten, so I let the Guv comfort her....

...and so to bed

Well I guess all the holidays in the "human kennel on wheels" are over for another year as the Guv and the Misses have put it to bed.  Mind you there is quite a lot of activity going on in my pad and I have been told that I will not be able to have the computer to write any blogs for a week or so.  That might mean the Guv has not paid the phone bill !   I'll let you know the reason next week.....

Well to continue from my blog yesterday I managed to check just what all this noise was about.  At first I thought it was a strange human building a nest in the tree opposite, but as you can see in the photographs our neighbour decided to have one his trees cut down a bit.  Now the Guv has cut down some of our trees but he does not climb up them to do it.....

I thought humans only cut trees down in Sept-timber!

Hope he leaves some of the tree for my mate "Reglisse" to use!

It's all happening....

OK, so this morning there's noise coming from across the road and I thought I had better investigate.  As a quick look through the garden fence did not reveal much I thought I'd better head out on my people's bedroom balcony for a better view.  Now I can see a white tin box on wheels with the doors open......
I'll tell you tomorrow what happens.

Another lunch stop

So on my trip with my people this was another place we stopped and had a look around, "Andernos le Bains".  The Guv and Misses decided to have lunch there, and very good it looked.....I did get a bit of left overs once we got back to the human kennel on wheels as I am not allowed to eat out or beg at table....
