No change.....

Windy, but warm.....another day having to make sure I don't get blown away during the beach walk. Now as you know I'm none to keen on water but when we got home I had no option.....got put in the rain room for a good wash down!

Mind you I I do feel better for it and what's more I know the Guv is getting me ready for another European trip ........

Windy,.....

Well all I can say about this mornings harbour walk is that I nearly got my ears blown off!  Whilst it is reasonably warm (around 17C) there was a fair wind out there.......

I think for the rest of the day I'll just sit on my sun-lounger on the balcony behind the screens and have a lazy doggy day.

A good day out....

A good day out yesterday started with my normal beach run-a-bout then a visit to my people's friends house so the Guv could refresh himself with a cup of coffee.  After that we went to Pylos where "they" had something to eat...Uh I just got a small taste of what the Misses had, and nothing off the Guv!

Nothing better than having view like this to look at and the wind in your fur!

The Misses drives!

A bit of a different day today as one of the Guv's tin boxes on wheels had to go to the car doctor for it's annual check up.  Now that meant I had to ride in the "poppymobile" with the Misses driving !

Let me tell you I kept a close eye on the road for her

Sad news today

I'm a bit sad today as I just learnt that one of my canine friends has died.  You may recall way back around April time I told you about "Scruff" the dog on Bouka beach here in Greece that my people were feeding, and how they gave him worming tablets and tick treatment.  Well of course when we all left for the U.K. we had hoped someone would be about to look after Scruff. The Guv tried to get a local support centre to take him, but they never replied to him....

After a while a very kind Greek family took him in (they take many Greek strays in that need help), but Scruff became so ill with several doggy problems he passed away in their living room.......RIP Scruff.....

It's my birthday....

Time passes so quickly you older humans say and I think I am going to agree with you.  I'm not sure quite what day I was born but when I found the Guv and his Misses and decided to look after them I got taken to the dog doctor and they told me how old I was and estimated my birth.....so January 2007 became the date. That means I'm now 7 years old, that's middle age in your human year terms for us canines.

I'm actually quite lucky to reach this age here in Greece. Whilst it is not old for a dog, unless us Greek dogs are looked after by kind humans the average age is only THREE YEARS OLD out here. Too many of my fellow canines become "cast outs" and die young.

Oh yes by the way I got this great birthday greeting by some of my mates.....

My New Year Greetings.....

Well folks the New Year party at my pad failed to occur this year, and this was the first year I had known that happen.  You see the Guv was taken ill and the Misses had to contact all their human friends and call the evening off.

Well I'm glad to say he's on the mend and soon I should be back out on my morning beach walks, meanwhile I'll leave you with a few suggestions for your New Years resolutions and wish you all HAPPY NEW YEAR
