Apologies to AA Milne.....

Halfway down the stairs is a stair where I sit.
There isn't any other stair quite like it.
I'm not at the bottom, I'm not at the top;
So this is the stair where I always stop.

Barking on the stairs is a game I play,
I really would not want it any other way.
I'm heard at the bottom, I'm heard at the top
and I can hear the Guv shouting
ROSIE  JUST  STOP!

Rabbit, rabbit, rabbit

Well at least one thing has not changed now I'm in my French home, that's the early morning walk.....mind you the Guv does has some odd ideas on how I should dress here in the French countryside.

He says I must wear this yellow coat so that when I'm in the fields the hunters will see me and not shoot me mistaking me for a rabbit, now I ask you do I look like a rabbit?

In any case I get the injection each year to stop me becoming a "rabbit dog", I think that's what the Guv tells me anyway.....

It's freezing......

So after we got off the floating tub it was a long drive for the Guv then an overnight stop in a human kennel. (good job they like canines as well, so I was allowed).  The following morning it was up and off for what I thought would be my normal beach run about......blooming funny white sand they have around here though, it was FREEZING .........a quick play and I soon got back to the poppymobile.

I'll protect him.....

As I was saying yesterday I did try the human bed and it was even more comfortable than mine, so I persuaded the Guv to let me share the bottom of his bed!

Well that was all well and good until the winds started to blow and the seas became rather rough so to make sure the Guv was not frightened I thought I would protect him whilst he was asleep.......

Have you missed me?

OK I know you missed me really !  Now as I was saying I just knew all this packing would result in something, and I was right...at least I could go as well though.
So once we got to the giant boat port in my homeland of Greece from past experience I knew we were off to my other home in France.  The Misses and the Guv always look after me on the trip as you can see, all my food laid out and even my own furry basket, mind you I think I´ll try the human bed for a change!

Packing ?

Well it was up as normal for the beach run-a-bout today then back home. However there seems to be a lot of activity taking place with the Guv and Misses packing lots and lots of boxes. Most have been put in the blue trailer that the "poppymobile" pulls around sometimes.  Now this means something is up....

I'd better keep a close watch......

Play misty for me

Well I guess I have to accept it's winter!  Whilst the days are still reasonably warm the nights have become cold with temperatures dropping to around 6C, it's a good job I'm allowed inside and have my own basket!

Getting the Guv up early for my beach run-a-bout remains the same though, but the mornings are now very misty as you can see from the photo the Guv took from our balcony......

He gave them away......

Lots to do for my people and me this morning!  Besides the normal beach walk and of course a trip to our favourite cafe (where I could watch the humans hitting balls back and forth over a net), the Guv went to the shop and loaded the car up with sacks of doggy biscuits ....YEH....

But guess what?  He then drove to a place and gave them all away!  WOOF....

Mind you I did not really mind, I'm not that keen on hard biscuits and I could see the man he gave them to had over a 100 canines that looked after him.  All of them were once like me, thrown out and left as strays here in Greece.  I just kept a very low profile in case the Guv left me there also !

It's still wet...

A bit of a change this morning with the beach run-a-bout venue, it was off to Petalidi the small seaside human resort about 10 minutes from my house.  Yes it's still wet but at least the clouds had stopped leaking.....

Mind you the trip was more for the Guv & Misses than me because the Misses went into baker's shop and bought lots of yummy cakes.  Uh I bet I don't get any!

It's wet...

It has become a bit wet over the last few days with some rain every day.....this has restricted some what my beach walks as the Guv does not like getting wet. In saying that neither do I !
Mind you we do still go out, its just cut a bit short.
These are two photos of this morning's walk on the beach at Risomylos
