True love travels on a gravel road.

Now I know the Guv is a big fan of "Elvis" but you'd think he'd be content in just playing the Elvis record
"True love travels on a gravel road"
instead of wanting to lay the road !  I'm sure the Misses said "play it" not "lay it"

Mind you standing on 20 tonne of gravel does give me a good view over the fields

They keep looking at me....

When I go out in the morning for my walk with the Guv one side of the road has mainly hay fields and the other side sunflowers, or as the French call them tournesol. Have you ever noticed just how they keep looking you?  Creepy, woof woof....

Hey Hay

Well the monster machine has been around our house once again and during the morning walk I thought I'd play hide and seek from the Guv !

Sometimes I must admit I'm just too clever for the Guv, I know he's hiding in the one!

We are sailing

When we returned to France we once again sailed with Brittany Ferries from Portsmouth. The Guv chooses them because they are the only ferry company that allows dogs in the cabins, in fact we get very special cabins, special service and they always leave me a present in the cabin, a toy, some food, a chewy bone and a special plastic dish!

You see the Guv heard that on DFDS ferries a couple of dogs have died as they have to be left in the cars in the ships hold!
I'm glad I get looked after......

Loads of space....

Just like last year when we went to Hereford we spent the week at our friends camp site.  Let me tell you I can thoroughly recommend it, not only are there great shower facilities for the Misses and the Guv but also loads of space in the fields for me to run around.

Too much !

On my tour of the U.K. my people stopped at the Weald and Downland living museum.  Now I thought we were in for a walk-a-bout inside but then the Guv seen the entry price......£15.00 EACH. On top of that they had not opened the coffee shop!

Just think how many doggy treats I could get for that!  Needless to say we just had a walk around the outside .

Safely gathered in....

I thought today I would share with you a few photographs the Guv took of me on my morning walks through the fields opposite my pad.

All the barley and wheat cut but sunflowers stand proud at the rear

Old bones...

Next it was onto North Wales and I found out the Misses is just like me really,
she went on the search for old bones!

What is more she found them here in Llandyrnog churchyard,
the grave of her Gt Gt Gt Grandfather

The next stop.....

view from front of the pub

Our next stop with the human kennel was in Car Colston, the Guv found this very nice pub with a small camping site behind.  I am told YET AGAIN the food in the pub was excellent!

Just left here to guard....the Guv and Misses have gone to dinner!

One of our camp sites

I had better tell you about my adventures in the U.K during this trip.  One of the camp sites we stayed at was in Reedham, now I have been there before so I knew all about the ferry that crosses the river.  The Guv and the Misses said the inn next to the camp site was very good also, mind you I never got to try the food there!

Just as we like it, nice and quiet.

Back home in France

Well I'm back home in France, but before I tell you about this year's UK trip I thought I'd set all my readers a little quiz....

Who can name the novel this photo represents?
