You sheltered me from harm......

I was going to tell you today about the "Duchess" but I had to spend the day supervising the Guv putting up this "tentas" (as they call it in my homeland). You see my people brought them all the way from Greece as they know the man who makes them and as the Guv says "they are Rosie proof".

The Guv says I can stay out in the garden as long as I like and keep warm behind the tentas and as the song goes  "He sheltered me from harm, kept me warm, kept me warm....."  That's what he thinks !  In this weather I'm definitely a fireplace dog!

Life is normal.....

Now I've been getting a few messages from my readers asking why I have not been blogging recently.  You see I have been busy adding to the fourth book about my life and adventures.  Also to be truthful life otherwise has been rather boring with just the normal morning walk and shopping expeditions with the Guv and the Misses.

We have however had to pay a visit to "The Duchess" who is having her internal organs sorted out.......I'll tell you about that in a few days.

River walks

Now I know I have not been blogging regular recently but each day has been very much the same with morning walks after breakfast with the Guv.  You all know about the walks around the farmlands next to my pad and the place I get to run-a-bout when we go to our nearest town.  However this morning the Misses decided to go shopping in another village about 10 minutes away, so I got to have a sniff around by the river.

My regular readers will know I do not like water, so I made sure I kept my distance from the river in Montmoreau. God made rivers for fish and ducks, not for dogs!
